Welcome to the website of the Bliard-Moriset Champagne House of Mesnil-sur-Oger. Our family has been making champagne in the traditional way for six generations.
Mesnil-sur-Oger is a delightful and famous Champagne village, rooted at the foot of the slopes of the prestigious “Côte des Blancs” located to the south of Epernay. The village is the home to real winegrowers, who work using ancestral techniques and whose nickname, given to the inhabitants in the Middle Ages, “Les Têtes Emboulées” or “The Quarrelsome Folk” illustrates their strong character.
Our vines are farmed using a sustainable method.
Integrated agriculture is an approach which applies to agricultural production that takes into account the protection of the environment and health. In France, the concept is regulated by the state (ministries of Agriculture and Ecology) and its promotion is undertaken by FARRE (Forum of Responsible Farmers who Respect the Environment). A certificate is awarded to farmers who respect the principles of integrated farming.
